Candice King, a American actress, made her name as Caroline Forbes in The Vampire Diaries. Though Candice gained fame as an actor she first started out her career as a singer. She released her first album, 'It's Always The Innocent in United States', in 2009. Twelve of the fourteen songs on the album were composed by her. While working on her acting as well, she was also a guest in shows like How I Met Your Mother. Though her career was going smoothly, a breakthrough didn't come to her until she was spotted as a character on the CW show The Vampire Diaries. The show instantly made her an household name. Candice King was widely praised for her amazing acting abilities and performances. She reprised her role for all the eight seasons of the show that lasted for 171 shows. Her role as a regular was portrayed in The Originals, a spin-off in 2018, and Legacies the 2021-based series.
